Angela Bratic
Angela has been a family lawyer and mediator for over 20 years, and her clients appreciate the wealth of experience she brings to the table. Having been on the frontline of many lengthy and complicated family court battles, Angela can testify to the fact that pursuing dispute resolution outside of the courtroom is always a superior option.
Not only does Angela know the extreme cost of going to court, she knows first-hand how animosity lingers between parties long after the judge’s decision. Like all of our mediators, Angela pursues a ‘best interests of the child’ policy that seeks to put kids at the forefront of all negotiations.
Angela is open about the fact that she has had to go through a divorce herself early in her life, and she is glad that she pursued dispute resolution to bring the matter to a quick close. Having dealt with family law issues herself, Angela is well placed to speak from a place of understanding when helping disputing parties find a meaningful and lasting compromise.
Angela can attest to the fact that, despite the anger you may feel at your ex, it is always better to find a mature resolution outside of court if it is possible. According to her, pursuing a vindictive ‘win’ over your ex is never worth the stress and expense of litigation.
When she isn’t working, Angela loves to read and catch up on TV. Her favourite proverb is ‘April showers bring forth May flowers’.
